I will dominate 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the novice remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, consistently making substantial earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the customary stare-down, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
